Thanks to the ever resistant (to Kareoke) Osh for this article...

The Wisconsin man, 24, allegedly became so incensed by a lackluster karaoke performance of a heavy metal song that he assaulted the singer and a second man, police charge. According to a River Falls Police Department report, Drinkwine throttled singer James Mischler, 28, and his friend Cyrus Kozub, 29, "over one's ability to sing karaoke.

Oh this just in from the if you are technically challenged dept.

A woman calling herself, Susan042764, posted a question on the apple support forums asking if a "technical glitch" could be responsible for nude photos of her husband she found attached to an email. She wrote,"Please help! I took my husband's iPhone and found a raunchy picture of him attached to an email to a woman in his sent email file. When I approached him about this, he admitted that he took the picture, but says that he never sent it to anyone. He claims that he went to the Genius Bar at the local Apple store and they told him it is an iPhone glitch - that photos sometimes automatically attach themselves to an email address and appear in the sent folder

Oh yeah - and sometimes automatically, ladies email addresses add themselves to your address book too.... [--]

The best by far space conquest sim ever was Master of Orion II (MOO II) - Atari did come out with a Master of Orion III and it sucked massively.

and now for a GNN news update...

"We'd like to do a Master of Orion 4," said Wardell, noting that those rights are owned by Atari as well. "It would be an updated Master of Orion 2. There would be more to it, but that would be the basis of it.

OMG - I'm now going to go cryo-freeze myself until this comes out....

We are going to show you how the power usage of an Intel Core i7 system scales as we move up BCLK MHz as well as vCore and QPI bus voltages from stock settings. These are the two primary voltage knobs you are going to have to tweak in order to get your Core i7 920 stable. And ours has been rock solid at 3.8GHz. While I would like to say, for the sake of e-peen, that 4GHz has been bulletproof for us, it just is not the case. We only have a single 920 sample currently and it is just not stable at 4GHz on air or ambient water cooling, no matter the tweaking we have done on either the ASUS P6T or ASUS Rampage II Extreme.

A good read if you are looking to do air cooling - water or vapochill maybe?

Meet the 8 gig Sansa clip - small, awesome and many more features than the Ipod.

The Sansa Clip is an MP3 player that is small with a ton of features thrown in. That might not seem new in today’s MP3 market, but what is new is that this tiny device packs about 8GB worth of memory.

nicely priced at $99

This is the coolest gadget for your next new years eve party (or any for that matter)

Stick the Ice Chamber, Vortex Funnels and 3 Pods to your fridge, kitchen tiles, or windows by their super sticky suckers. You can arrange them in any way you want!
Pour your mixers in at the top and watch in amazement as they make their tipsy ( ummmm…. topsy) turvy journey to the bottom. There'll be so much splashing, whizzing, churning and crazy fun that your guests won't believe their eyes!

LONDON - Paul McCartney says it's time an experimental Beatles track saw the light of day.

McCartney says he wants to release "Carnival of Light," a 14-minute experimental track the Fab Four recorded in 1967 but never released.

You Are Checkers

You are very logical and rational. You are able to understand what is and isn't a factor.
You're able to compartmentalize and focus on the essentials.
You appreciate simplicity. You can see the layers of complexity and beauty in anything.
You are also playful and good natured. You don't take life too seriously!
