If you use the I Google page you might have noticed a slew of changes to the layout, the tabs have moved to the left hand side and unfortunately Google is now selling adspace on the widgets. I got quite a surprise when my "word of the day" was advertising free mp3's. Oh well, I spose you gotta take the good with the bad eh?

*** update - i appears some skins with 3 or 4 column layouts are being cut off and I've ditched dictionary.com word of the day after day 2 of ads.

Put my tabs back on top! The line of 4 columns is just bad balance and visually irritates me every time I see my igoogle page, which is all day, every day.

I agree! I HATE the tabs being on the left now. I can't move gadgets between tabs anymore and it really doesn't serve much of a purpose. Google, that was a MAJOR step backwards!

Put the left side bar back on top.
It takes away form the spaciousness of
the Igoogle page.

I gotta agree I think, tho it doesn't hurt me as much with a 2 column skin..

might as well vent - I'll go and send your comments to the big almighty Google if we get enough.

What good does it do not to have to leave iGoogle when you have to copy and paste any URL you want to click on when checking email???? The tabs are awful! All my gadgets are half cut off! Who made this ridiculous decision?? Everyone makes mistakes, but you can fix it!!! Please give us our old google back!!!!

I hate the new changes! It was so easy before and friendly to use. The tabs allowed me to one click my art page filled with beautiful artwork or my news page to see ALL the different political views I wanted at a glance! Please someone tell me how I can get all my hard work back again! There were 10-12 tabs across the top of my screen, each its own little heaven of information, pictures, music, etc. THIS IS THE KIND OF CHANGE WE DO NOT WANT & PLEASE DON'T FORCE IT DOWN OUR THROATS LIKE WALL STREET DID!!! I'm certain that you are supposed to introduce a new change before you implement it and it's the reason I went to Google for my homepage. Take it BACK!!!!! It's IE7, not Firefox, Dave!
