We're prepping for hurricane Earl tomorrow - which should be coming in and making a mess right about the time I'm driving home from work.... great. On the bright side it is going to break the 6 day 90+ heat wave we've been suffering through. I'll take it.

Posting has been kinda slow the past few as I'm transitioning into a new job. This week things will start to settle down a bit and starting tomorrow will be pretty much back to normal.

Top of the morning everyone, I've just returned and will start regular updates again shortly (maybe as soon as this afternoon) - First I have to sort through hundreds of emails in my inbox for work and catch up a bit.

I thought it was hot up here in CT until last week - Florida was like walking through boiling soup. Even so we managed to have a great time with only a little hassle.

It's been a rough week here what with the 6 day heat wave and all.... I've about had it with the temps. Word is that Saturday the humidity will break but temps stay in the 90's for a while still.

Man this has been a long week... it's kinda like swimming through molasses for me. I've just got one more day to muddle through and then it's the weekend! Thinking of maybe going to a drive in movie if something cool is playing just so the kids can experience it before the last one closes. Since last Thursday I've noticed a ten fold increase in spam across several accounts - even Gmail. Anyone else seeing this ?

I hope you all had a great 3 day weekend - I spent my time soaking up the sun, hitting up the lake and cooking some great food. Sadly though it's all over. Seeing today is like a Monday, I'll resume posts tomorrow first thing. Take it slow and easy today and I'll catch you all tomorrow.

For those of us in the states, it's not only the unofficial start of summer - it's a 3 day weekend to boot. Cookouts, fireworks, the beach - all you have to do is make it until closing today. That is, if you didn't skip work today too.

I'll be doing most of the above, but the most important thing is I'll be putting this laptop down for a full 3 days - so you won't see any new stuff here until Tuesday.

I hope all my readers have a great holiday - remember to try and be safe, don't mix gasoline with charcoal or anything like that. Remember the sunblock - stock up on ice and beer and bacon -

This week has seemed like 3 weeks long, and I for one am ready to welcome our weekend overlords. The weather is warming up, pollen is coming down, and it looks like a fine weekend. I'm not quite sure what I'll be up to for most of it, but tonight I'm trying to get ahold of Beatles rock band for the Wii.

Wow, the end of the week is nigh. Congrats for making it! - I hope you all have something fun planned for the weekend. - I just discovered Rock Band Track Packs and even though I have no instruments - you can play 'em for straight Kareoke .. so I'm sure I'll be doing a bit of that myself.

Later on in the weekend I plan to make a fool of myself trying to hit a golf ball with a real like club... heck, can't do much worse than on the Wii.

I've seen some odd behavior as of late and am wondering if any of you readers have noticed it? When you load the page you get the message "There is nothing to display" and the page title goes all odd...

I'm looking into it but it would help to know if anyone else has seen this behavior.

Top of the morning to ya! I got my car - Mazda 6i. I'll pass a word of advice around.... before you go to trade in your old car be sure you have the title. I spent all day Friday driving to get a copy and almost struck out.
Started at the dealer giving me a form to get a copy of my title. Then off to the DMV with the form only to be told the form needed to be notarized - then off to town hall to get that done only to be told it'll cost 5 bucks but they only take cash - then off to the bank - back to the town hall - back to the DMV only to be told that the bank never released the lean on the car - (from 6 years ago) then call to the bank, fax the lean release to the dealer - Fedex it to me ... back to the dealer.

I'm really lucky the dealer would work with all this, and I've got nothing but praise for Liberty Mazda in CT - they were awesome.

Still, check your files a good week or two before - amazing how some documents get lost.
