Is there no end to the fantastic goodness of bacon?

While off looking for a new, exciting twist on the ever popular Bacon Cup, a most visually stunning version of a recipe for Bacon Cups popped onto the computer screen and I knew immediately that I had to share it with you, even if just for the excellent photos that come with the recipe.

The recipe and the photos come to us from Megan Reardon of the blog “Not Martha” and her “artistic eye” for aesthetic expression and passionate photographic prowess is truly impressive, check this out:

I especially like the sliders that let you customize food by flavor....

Yummly covers almost all the angles you can cook up for a foodie’s website.

Yes, Yummly goes the same way by indexing recipes from across the web. The number of recipes it is attempting to index is astounding – 500,000 recipes from sources like Allrecipes, Epicurious, Food Network, Chow, Food & Wine, Martha Stewart, My Recipes, Real Simple, and Recipezaar.

Featuring "Cheese Relish" - try this puppy out at the next cookout.

"Our favorite new variation on pimento cheese uses Swiss (instead of the traditional cheddar) and banana peppers (instead of roasted red peppers)," said Matt Lee, who with his brother wrote the recent "The Lee Bros. Simple Fresh Southern."

"We add capers, chives and chili flakes to torque the flavor up to 11 and to reinforce the crumbly, relish-like texture of the spread," he said.

RecipeChimp is an ingredient-based search engine. All you have to do is enter in some ingredients (comma separated) and we'll show you a ton of tasty recipe options. You can further refine your results by adding or removing ingredients to find the right recipe for your next meal.

I've used Google for this on many occasions, but I think this site is an even better option - try it out. Might just help you clear those odd ingredients out of the fridge.

Tell me this doesn't make you drool a little bit. Here's a good idea for the grill this summer.

Do you like hot dogs, mustard, ketchup, cheese, onions, sauerkraut and bacon? Then this is the stuffed hot dog recipe for you. It's all in there, held in place by a wrapping of bacon around the hot dog. You can easily exchange the toppings for others, though note that the sauerkraut does help keep the cheese inside the hot dog while cooking.

And of course it has bacon. Sounds perfect for a cold rainy day.

Tonight, I'll be using my slow cooker to make a bacon-flecked stew with white wine and a whole cut-up chicken, reminiscent of the French countryside favorite coq au vin.

This is something fun to try on those rainy days where you just need something to experiment with. This recipe also has very little oil so it might actually be fairly good for you - or at least healthier than regular chips.

I just got us a deep fryer but I'm tempted to try this just for giggles.

Sometimes you need a little more help on a recipe - and this site sure does that. I don't know if you need this kinda info on every recipe? Still, it's kinda cool and back in the day when I had a cooking website this is the way I'd do it.

Here's another one for you candied bacon fans ....

Yes, indeed. This unique appetizer snack is made with cocoa powder, brown sugar, and bacon. It is so simple yet so addictive. You won't really notice a chocolate flavor, more like a smoky richness complemented by the kick of the chipotle chile powder. Keep a stockpile for a quick snack or to amaze your party guests. It really is that good. You will need thick-cut bacon for this recipe.
