- by RobI actually like this song now - awesome geekness here.
- by RobThis guy stands up and says what most all of us think about Facebook updates.

What self respecting Geek does not love Godzilla? This site gives you a haiku with pics.
- by RobJust too funny. Btw I looked for pics from the event and couldn't find any. As a publicity stunt it worked like magic. So much so that Redmond found out and sent flowers with this note.
- by RobThanks for the good times IE6, see you all @ MIX when we show a little piece of IE Heaven. The Internet Explorer Team @ Microsoft.

I haven't had to do this yet, but I can forsee the day when I will - oh yes, it's coming.
This is a great article that guides you through the process one step at a time. Cool. I'm keeping it for someday soon.
- by RobI encountered with a problem of importing a database from mysql to mssql server. I tried this, that, Google and wasted my time to find the way. After trying several things, finally I got an easiest solution to import the data from mysql to mssql server. Then I thought I can help programmer’s society by posting this article. I can say it’s my another steps towards the social work: P

I know a good many techs out there that would love this ...
* Provides 5 cable types in one connector
* Just rotate the center to the cable you need
* Cable options:
o ROLLED: Connect a host to a Cisco router or switch
o CROSSOVER: Communicate directly between computers without a hub or switch
o STRAIGHT-THROUGH: Use as a standard RJ45 patch cable
o ATM/LOOPBACK: Test if a network card is working by checking for link lights with no need for a hub or switch
o T1: Connect to DDS lines / T1 trunk lines
$30 bucks out the door at Think Geek.
- by RobThanks Blaze, I actually avoided it until you sent the link then I watched it and wow - They got another super viral hit with geek flair on this one.

I know a lot of you won't need this, but it is a darn fine implementation of GPS, Marine, Shipping data.
- by RobThe Irony is this clip is on HULU and it's making fun of You Tube.
- by RobLink: http://www.makeuseof.com/tech-fun/the-cost-of-gadgets-over-the-decades/
I really like this infographic. My first decent computer cost $3500 - the (extra) hard drive that went with it was 20 Megs and sounded like a jet turbine powering up. (I miss that)
Over the years how do the prices of tech compare in today's dollars?
Nicely done.

I couldn't agree more - this is a rant by a programmer who is thoroughly sick of it. It's time to get a new system going Microsoft...

If you've got a page you're trying to improve or optimize - there are plenty of extensions you can use right from your browser - well, if you're using Firefox... and possible Chrome.
Sorry IE users - no extensions (or anything else cool ) for you.
- by RobWhile funny - some little bit of the human side of me hopes this was a demo computer and not someones actual laptop.
- by RobI'm not at all impressed with buzz after trying it for a week, then again I don't have any time anymore for social networking sites. However I'll make sure to keep it active less they shank me.
- by RobPeople like my lad and I know this is from a MAME emulation that didn't get fully retranslated.
Both he and I have played this. It is this funny.
- by RobI am getting more and more impressed with SNL's digital shorts...

Here's something to make you feel better for spending all that hard earned cash on the latest and the greatest. Benchmarking a p4 against today's best provides some damn spiffy results.
Yep, it's like looking back to '95 at the Athlon 1 ghz
